Hurricane Helene Emergency Response Grant Update
AMY Wellness Foundation’s Emergency Response Grant for disaster relief efforts in Avery, Mitchell, and Yancey Counties is now closed.
We are currently gathering critical information to assess the ongoing needs of our communities and to guide the development of our Recovery Response Grant Funding, which will launch later in 2025.
We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to our Emergency Response Efforts. Your support made an incredible impact during this time of need. We also want to thank our community partners, first responders, and volunteers for their unwavering dedication and swift action in assisting families, neighbors, and friends across the region.
While the road to recovery is long, the AMY Wellness Foundation remains committed to supporting our communities every step of the way. Please stay tuned for updates on Recovery Response Grant opportunities in the coming months.
Thank You for Supporting Relief and Recovery
AMY Wellness Foundation is deeply moved by the incredible generosity and financial support for the ongoing relief and recovery efforts in our region. We are proud to collaborate with Dogwood Health Trust, our key partner in these efforts, who has been an early and instrumental funder of our initiatives.
In addition to Dogwood Health Trust’s support, we have received donations from individuals near and far, each contributing to the critical work being done by frontline organizations in Avery, Mitchell, and Yancey counties. These gifts, large and small, reflect the deep commitment of our community and beyond to helping our region recover from Hurricane Helene.
Although our Emergency Response efforts have concluded, the need for long-term support remains critical as we work to rebuild and strengthen our communities. Your contribution to our Recovery Fund will play a vital role in helping families and neighborhoods recover and thrive in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
We invite you to join us in this ongoing effort to create lasting impact. Together, we can ensure our communities have the resources they need to fully recover. Please consider making a donation to the AMY Wellness Foundation Recovery Fund today.
We are profoundly grateful for your support. Your contributions are making a real difference in helping us rebuild stronger, together.
