Philanthropy at Work: Partners Aligned Toward Health’s Community Ambassador Real Equality (CARE) was featured in this month’s North Carolina Medical Journal. CARE is a partnership between local community ambassadors, Partners Aligned Toward Health, Mountain Community Health Partnership, Mountain Area Health Education Center, Yancey County Emergency Management, Pisgah Legal Services, and others to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and increase vaccine uptake in Avery, Mitchell, and Yancey counties. The initiative would not be possible without funding from AMY Wellness Foundation.
