Response to COVID-19

AMY Wellness Foundation is taking precautions following the recommendations of NC Department of Health and Human Services. We have decided that it is in the best interest of our community to virtualize, postpone, or cancel all events through April 8th.

In addition to providing financial support, AMY Wellness Foundation’s is committed to empowering organizations through strategic workshops, centered around capacity building. We hope to provide organizations with the tools they need to work at their highest capacity in the most sustainable way.

Organizations across our region have humbly served the needs of our communities for generations. To ensure that these services remain a lasting resource, AMY Wellness Foundation is partnering with WNC Nonprofit Pathways and WNC Health Network to re-imagine collaboration by offering three free workshops. “As an organization, we have been promoting community-wide collaboration to move the needle towards transforming in this region.” Said Nora Frank, Associate Director of AMY Wellness Foundation. “Partnerships to help build capacity for organizations is a vital part of the overall mission as a Foundation. We want to uplift this area by providing the necessary tools needed to feel confident when seeking funding from grant-makers locally, regionally and nationally. Working together is the only way we can truly transform health and wellness.” Said Frank.
